LEGO Batman Movie - Harley Jacket Template

Another month, another post! This time I'm sharing another template I've made of the decals on LEGO Harley's jacket!

Here is the image I created in Photoshop:
I will update this post at a later date with the images separated so they can be printed onto 4 sheets of A4 paper for your convenience!

Transfer Methods

Heat-Press Vinyl

Typically you'd have the vinyl cut with a laser cutting machine and use a heat-press to transfer the vinyl to the fabric, then peel away the plastic backing. This has a professional look when it's done.

You can use inexpensive tools as well - for my LEGO Harley jacket, I cut the vinyl with a pair of scissors (you might be able to find someone that will do custom heat-press vinyl cuts with their laser cutting machines) and used my iron and my own body's weight. This method worked really well! If you do this, make sure you DON'T burn your fabric!!

Iron-On Transfer Paper

With iron-on transfer paper, you'll normally have to print the design MIRRORED! And use an iron for a few minutes (according to the instructions of the particular transfer paper that you're using - ALWAYS READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!) and peel away the backing.

Paint

If you're comfortable with painting, you can use this as a stencil to help mark out where all the details go, or use it as a reference and go by eye. You'll have to do research on what would be the best paint to use for whatever fabric you're painting on.

Embroidery

You might be able to embroider this? Or even use pieces of fabric or do a sort-of patchwork style - I haven't done these myself but I'm sure it's possible!
